Deposit
If a booking is made more than eight weeks prior to the start of your holiday, it must be accompanied by a deposit of 25% of the rental fee, along with a refundable security deposit of £75 which is returned to you promptly after the inspection following your departure. A receipt will be sent to you along with the latest payment date for the remaining balance.
If you are booking your holiday less than eight weeks in advance, the full amount is due immediately.
Final Payment
The balance of the rental fee falls due not less than eight weeks before your holiday, the latest date for this payment can be found on your deposit receipt. Should payment not be received your booking may be cancelled and the deposit lost. Your security fee of £75 will be returned.
Security Fee
The security fee will be returned promptly to you unless deductions are necessary for excess cleaning, breakages, damage, loss of cottage property and postage of any items left at the cottage. Should any deductions be necessary a full breakdown will be sent to you.
Cancellation
Cancellation of your booking up to eight weeks prior to your holiday will result in the forfeit of the deposit. The security fee will be returned to you in full. Cancellation less than eight weeks prior to your holiday will result in the forfeit of the total rental fee. The security fee will be returned to you in full. If the cottage can be re-let at this short notice, the rental will be returned to you minus the deposit.
Injury/Loss
The owner of the property cannot be held responsible for any accident, damage, loss, injury, expense or inconvenience suffered by the hirer or any other person in the party or connected to the party.
Arrival & Departure Times
You will have access to your cottage from 3.00 p.m. on your arrival day.
The keys to the cottage will be left in a location, detailed in your cottage pack, which will be sent to you when the final payment has been received. On your departure day, the cottage must be vacated by 10.00 a.m.
Obligations of the Hirer
The number of persons in the party must not exceed the number confirmed
on the booking form. Additional guests added to the party after the original
time of booking will be subject to a charge of £25 per person payable
before the holiday. The cottage must be left clean and tidy, all furniture
should be returned to the original location and all kitchen equipment and
utensils are cleaned and put away.
